I had my outdoor cooking area replaced by Jennifer and her team 6 years ago, and I am still very pleased with the results. The materials used and the workmanship were outstanding, and the area still looks like it was installed yesterday. Best of all, Jennifer and Gene have stuck by me to help me keep my grill working to perfection, and that’s not easy being high up on the water and being exposed to high winds and salt air. Jennifer and team did an excellent job of transforming a regular deck into a practical and useful space. I use this outdoor kitchen weekly and am out there daily. The covered pergola and movable pergola wall behind the grill area is great. Jennifer helped find the fire table we have and her recommendation on the marine grade outdoor cabinets was spot on. If I ever move I will always put these cabinets in… they are awesome. The team is polite and responsible. I would trust them with an outdoor kitchen whole heartedly.

I can't endorse BYS enough, I would give 10 stars! BYS built a beautiful outdoor kitchen and pergola for me 4 years ago and 4 years later, it has aged extremely well and is still an amazing addition to my house. I moved to this area(from NY), built a home and have hired many building professionals along the way....ie contractors, plumbers, electricians, landscapers....etc. Lets just say, trying to get someone to call you back when seeking an estimate, or actually showing up to perform the job you contracted to do has been often times challenging to say the least. Recently, I reached out to BYS to help me complete another project in my backyard. The professionalism, organization, communication, transparency, cleanliness and quality of craftsmanship on the project they completed has FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. Their entire team, from design, their project manager, every contractor and worker consistently went out of their way to make sure we were completely satisfied every step of the way. They showed up every day they said they would, worked diligently to move the project forward expeditiously, and perhaps most importantly, never balked at any challenges they faced during the project....they found a solution. The word NO never was said when we asked for changes or needed customization for our vision. The finished product is nothing short of spectacular!I cant wait to dream up another project and call BYS again to make that dream a reality!

Thank you to Backyard Specialist, Jennifer and Gene. Our back porch kitchen space turned out perfect and we cook almost 60% of our meals in the outdoor kitchen. You packed a very nice package into this space with plenty of room to maneuver around the grill, fridge and sink and pass through window...the hood you chose works very well for keeping smoke out drafted from the porch area. The black cabinets are so nice and really hi-lite the porch design...We are very satisfied with the design, workmanship and equipment chosen. We highly recommend Jennifer and Gene and will be using you guys again for the pool pavilion kitchen very soon.
